Who we are

The Linlithgow Community Development Trust (LCDT), a community-led charity, led the project to build a world-class 1km traffic-free cycle circuit for everyone to enjoy. With support from the Council, the community, local clubs and national sporting bodies we opened our tarmac cycle facility in May 2023.

The circuit is now used by local clubs and groups and the general public with regular activities taking place every day, including women’s hour on a Monday, regional cycle coaching in a Tuesday, public training sessions on a Wednesday, athletics and cycle coaching on Thursday, cycle racing on a Friday, Skating on a Saturday and Junior Park Run and events on a Sunday

We are a community organisation formed by residents of Linlithgow and Linlithgow Bridge to deliver change to benefit the community.

Our aim is ‘To make Linlithgow a better place to live and work, through a community led plan of action which provides services, amenities and/or financial support to local initiatives.’

Linlithgow Community Development Trust is a registered charity: SC045971
